As a priest, I use this book with the couples who come to me as they prepare for marriage. It is a brilliant explanation of Pope John Paul II's already brilliant Theology of the Body. The couples enjoy it, and its accessibility and clarity make it a great resource for anyone looking to learn more about Catholic teaching on sex and marriage.

Wonderful book! It gives the basics of marriage. Sadly, most people don't know what [the basics of] marriage is. Every Christian (and Jew) should read this because Christianity (and Judaism) is (/are) very intertwined with marriage. Every person should read it to know what marriage is. Great examples, honest, and great references. I definitely recommend this.

This book addresses the Catholic Church's teaching on sex and marriage in a question and answer format. The book is divided into chapters of related questions. It's a great read straight-through, but it's also really handy to grab as a quick reference for any question that comes to mind. This book is based on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body. (I'd also highly recommend Christopher West's "Theology Of The Body For Beginners" for a great overview and explanation of this teaching.)
