Eating too much red meat can be a bad move, but what are the implications of this type of research that concerns me

The news that eating lots of red meat is bad for you regularly in the long run is not exactly new, however, the recent announcement of a study by Harvard Medical School in the health and diets of more than 120,000 health professionals were followed for 28 years, seems to have made a great noise than normal.

is true that the numbers are frightening: the addition of a portion of red meat to their diet, they say, increases the risk of dying by 13%. Make sure that the processed red meat - bacon, for example - and that figure rises to 20%

course, the typical response to this question is colored by an arithmetic understandable. We are not, in reports to digest, is to give the numbers behind these percentages, so that while the reader may very casual mistakenly delete the information of the consumption of one serving of bacon on a given day one in five likely to die that day, the reality is somewhat less alarming. This means that if 1000 does not red-meat eaters will die prematurely during a given period, then 1130 red meat eaters. 1200 fans or delicatessens.

And is it not used to the depressing effects chain. One can, of course, is to prepare and eat whatever you want, but the usual equipment of the cranks who are interested in not only cowards, in the words of George Orwell resonance, adding five years to life in their bodies but also causing your system to others, we will serve chicken, fish or nuts in their meals boring, or, if we are really lucky, a small portion of grilled red meat, full cut fat. (Of course, a perfectly cooked steak Chateaubriand contains no fat in it, and should be finished on the grill, but it must also be dipped in creamy sauce, béarnaise rich in yolk, and somehow, I do not see the good people of the British Heart Foundation to approve a plate.) Give me a vegetarian back with strong ethical principles and social cons lifting and eat animals every day of the week instead of the soft approach and wowserish dining, and living.
