This Bible is very comfortable to read, both in the way it's made with the soft cover, and the Good News version, itself. It's just like reading a story in modern language, but you still remember you're reading the Bible.

It's too bulky and heavy (for me) to carry to church and have in the choir loft with me, but it's perfect for home reading and study. It encourages me to read the Bible more regularly.

I also like supporting the American Bible Society.

Check out the Gospel of John on DVD, it's VERBATIM the Good News Translation! (My Godson who was only ten understood it and watched it all the way through!!!) I absolutely Love it!!!
