Cuts protests last winter led to a police chief of a new era of political unrest to warn. But months later, the great British revolt went quiet. If a teacher 'strike, sparking the riots?

Directly to a stairwell at the University of London Union, last winter one of the nerve centers of the student protests of anti-cuts, there is a small, enclosed space. "Free education for all," read the old posters piled carelessly on the window sill. "Protest / Strike occupy / \." Stacked neatly on the floor more, such as firewood, are hundreds of unused poster handles.

Has the anti-motion cuts just biding his time in recent months, while the coalition 's poll numbers have stabilized and mass protests have almost stopped? Or has lost some momentum?
