Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry Potter is the defense of his former art school against the cuts, reports Portsmouth.co.uk. Art workshops in glass, metal and ceramics at the University of Portsmouth teachers face at the close of Fine Arts and 16 jobs on the line. The university plans to focus on digital arts, but Perry is vehemently against the proposals, which could save the university £ 526,000 per year in personnel costs:
