Joachim Löw insisted he was never concerned about Germany being eliminated from Euro 2012 in Denmark, although at one point his men were in a goal of elimination.

with Portugal against Holland led entering the final 20 minutes, a goal by Denmark would have been sufficient for qualifying ships with Portuguese and German, who won their first two group matches , back at home.

But Lars Bender goal gave Germany a 2-1 win and ended any doubt. "I had a plan," said Löw, coach of Germany. "Of course, he thought about what would have happened if Denmark had somehow suddenly made a goal, but I never had that feeling.

"I was very relaxed and not anywhere when panic. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sami Khedira were always in control and I just felt that would score. "

Confidence

Löw was based on what he had seen in the first hour of play in Lviv, during which Germany appeared in control.

"Denmark has played with stoic calm and it seemed to me that I do not care," he said.

"I never felt that Denmark will play to win. They wanted to keep the result, we were happy with the draw and maybe I could get a free kick or a area that could benefit, but did not attack much.

"They sat down a lot, even if I win. Had one or two good chances, but not more than that, and I think in the second half we did a good job because pressure.

"We lost three or four times and did not have the killer instinct," he said. "I think in the midfield and at the back, there were often many gaps and we could have better control of Denmark.

"Greece will look like and try to take the tempo of the game, such as Denmark. You still can get better."
Morten Olsen, coach of Denmark, expressed his pride in the performance of his team and explained why Löw felt that his face was so negative.
