The people who really know that their clubs give us the facts on what to expect in League Two next season - a tough battle for the play-offs

Accrington Stanley

We 've found another blogger for Accrington. Maybe it is' s \ dir. If so e-mail is john.ashdown @ guardian.co.uk.

AFC Wimbledon

After the euphoria of the play-off victory at Eastlands this summer a little bit of reality for Dons fans must check. Captain and striker Danny Kedwell and influential midfielder Steven Gregory was put Gillingham and Bournemouth or estimated Dons fans before floating on air and spoke of possible back-to-back promotions for a rapid return to the real world of the football league. Pre-season woe was deepened further by Terry Brown 's failure to bring in exchange, from the market despite a healthy financial war chest from the Kedwell and Gregory offers deserved prize.

But quit despite fundamental realignment expectations in a rather banal lower mid-table, is excited at Wimbledon supporters eager for a glimpse into league action in nine years building. Brown 's plan of building a squad of young, talented players to achieve the promotion of two or three years down the line much earlier than planned achievements, plays the kind of exciting most attractive football Dons fans have been over the years starved, but in our misguided we can see how they repeated the trick and disturbing the promotion picture next term. We wouldn 't say no to run a cup (or two), but now we' re just happy to be back, thanks to ...

Aldershot Town

With pre-season is over, Aldershot Town are in my view in the right direction with a decent reputation for developing the next season. Due to financial constraints a number of players left the shots at the end of the season and replaced by younger players who are hungry for success. In fact, many were recruited from non-league and are interested in playing their mischief in the league. Dean Holdsworth is an ambitious young manager, the success in his first full year at his old club (Newport County) was, and I am confident he will do the same this season. Aldershot Town launches its 20th Season, where they ultimately wanted to be (Football League), but with a good reputation for the promotion.

Barnet

After another uncomfortable familiar summer of upheaval in Underhill, it would be easy to forgive the non-believers in Barnet to have the highest expectations for the coming season.

Many supporters are Barnet defender Joe Devera with accomplished and reliable goalkeeper Jake Cole leaves the club to be affected both without transfer fees. Replace the two main actors will be crucial for incoming manager Laurie Sanchez in achieving the club 's main goal for the new campaign to stay in League One for another year.

Are shown but the togetherness of the young Bees squad in their last eight games of last season, not dismissed as mere coincidence. Could be derived with journeyman Steve Kabba and Izale McLeod, plus show young midfielder Sam Deering and Mark Byrne commitment to Barnet, the page should be able to play the adventurous type of football, which saved them from relegation last season.

Like the majority of lower division sides, could the financial situation at Barnet as a 'gentle' and the club 's long-term stability will be described to determine the retention of their status as a Football League club - a result that everyone is satisfied Bees fan. Bradford City

Following last year 's performance expectations for Bradford City are likely to find an all-time low and the club is in a transitional phase. But despite this, I am confident for the coming season. Peter Jackson was not my first choice to replace the outgoing Peter Taylor last year, but the way he went about his transfer business documents, has impressed me enormously. Jackson has to prove to young, hungry players with one point invested. In the last four years we have 'hopes that they' old signature "name \ d us up, but the route this year will bear more fruit.

Last year was obviously bad for City, so any improvements welcome. However, League Two is a close alliance with little between the teams so there is no reason why we should not at least be pushing for a play-off place. It 'd also be nice to see some attacking football after the dour game of last season. See a top-10 finish, with many City fans would happily gates for this season. Mark, The Bantams Blog

Bristol Rovers

It 's an air of excitement at Bristol Rovers this season as new boss Paul Buckle, kick starts a revolution. For he has ambled in and turned her head to Memorial Stadium to prepare for the Pirates 'assault on League Two after their relegation to the basement of the league last season.

The ex-Torquay manager was on 30 May and has already appointed his mark on the club's stamp and signature of a dozen players such as Chris Zebroski and Scott Bevan, who followed him here, both from Torquay United.

Buckle 's activities over the summer has bookies placing Rovers go as favorites this season and has fans to forget the worries of losing last season' s top scorer, Will Hoskins, newly promoted to Brighton.

The expectations and the whispers are already promoting themselves to the terraces in Bristol after an impressive preseason, consisting of five wins, including one on Burnley and a draw against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Heads gas can not wait to come for the new season started. They have already sold their allocation for the away to AFC Wimbledon on the opening day of the season. Mary Hudd, Bristol Rovers fan ( @MariaHudd)

Burton Albion

He demanded instead a brave man, a bet on a single Burton Albion game, so take a gamble on how the Brewers would be fair on a grueling 46-match marathon well, close to madness. Albion are unpredictable, to say the least.

A very disappointing 19th Place last season was the result of some very frustrating inconsistency and a mounting backlog frightening. Paul Peschisolido moved quickly in the summer and increased competition in many areas with stunning photographs by Cleveland Taylor and Chris Palmer. Striker Calvin Zola agreed a permanent stay with the Brewers after a loan spell with the club, while defender Tom Parkes has joined on loan from Leicester.

However, the departures of frontman Shaun Harrad in January and goalkeeper Adam Legzdins two bulky gaps that need filling created. Rams stopper Ross Atkins is expected to take place and the Albion goalkeeper position.

As always, Albion 's chances widely written off, although I'm optimistic. Player for player, "is as good as any squad 'the Brewers \ s. With the addition of striker Justin Richards, Burton may have surprised a few people and go on a successful season. Any improvement in the last campaign would be to welcomed. Luca gallons

Cheltenham Town

Cheltenham Town enter their 13th season of League football faced with the task of defying the bookmakers, who once again have them down as favourites for the drop.

Crawley Town have made a few signings over the summer as they go into their first season of league football, but the backbone of the side is still there from the conference winning team.

Matt Tubbs will be leading the forward line again, although he will have strong competition for his place as new signings Tyrone Barnett, Wesley Thomas and John Akinde have all impressed in pre-season. In midfield Hope Akpan, signed from Everton, looks a great prospect and I'm sure he will become a fans favourite.

Off the field, the club moved into new training facilities, and they are in the process of applying for planning permission for a 2,000-capacity stand to sit install to replace an open terrace. It 's hoping that the new stand will be at the end of the year, with the Broadfield Stadium rose to around 6,000, if it' s available.

With a fourfold increase in season ticket sales compared to this time last year, the local public to always behind the team, as they are into the unknown. Where will we be ready? The club will say they are going to win the league, as a fan I 'd, to the automatic promotion, perhaps even a play-off place, although seventh goal difference can test the nerves. Peter Bellamy CTFC.net

But the concern has been replaced with genuine optimism after a busy summer acquisitions. Eight major signings, including Millwall defender Andy Frampton, Peterborough duo Charlie Lee and Chris Whelpdale and strike pairing of Danny Kedwell and Adam Birchall (of AFC Wimbledon and Dover Athletic, respectively), have given Andy Hessenthaler 's side, a new, hungry, looking front of the 2011-12 campaign.

That optimism was slightly after the news that Birchall from the first part of the season be ruled out with a torn ligament mitigated, but even so, the enhanced backbone of the side, with the addition of some strong leadership coupled in the form of Frampton, promises Lee and Kedwell, good for Gillingham 's season.

From the area real concern about the club 's finances remain, but are on the field Gillingham fans confident they can go at least one place better than last season, with automatic promotion a distinct possibility, if we find a partner for Kedwell while Birchall 's enforced absence.

Oxford United

After a season of modest consolidation in the league 's Division cellar it' s business as usual for Oxford United. The feeling after a four year break from the appreciative '92 Club 'is understandable and a 12th Place last season was therefore considered acceptable. But (an average of 7277 to Bradford City \ compared with the second best support in the department 's 11128) and a series of impressive summer signings United fans are predicting support for Chris Wilder' s team.

One of which is new signings Peter Leven who has joined on a free transfer to Milton Keynes. Leven has a number of top Championship sides joined this summer, but by a small metatarsal bone injuries and some quick work by Wilder and the chairman Kelvin Thomas noble Scot is in yellow and blue to play this season - a real signal intent from the Association.

However, the real topic of conversation for many fans, the Oxford-renewal of a bitter rivalry. One of the few mutually reciprocated derbies in the country between Oxford and Swindon and 21 August fronts are pulled back at the County Ground. Oxford won the last meeting between the two sides in December 2002 and 1-0 in a yellow dream world two similar results this season would be a very sweet cherry on the promotion.

Port Vale

We 're still a few players short, especially a big target man who can disrupt the defender and hold the ball when we' re under pressure. Our squad seems to lack a real physical presence and is on the small side for League Two.
In my opinion, this season will be a case of building for the season after. With all the changes that 's happening, I think it's more likely. However, Andy Scott 's interviews, he seems to be hoping to win the league. I think we 'll never know until well into May.

Shrewsbury Town

Wycombe 's "goal that never was" us against them by a point and place to stay in League Two was promoted. However, it was not a disaster last season with club legend and manager Graham Turner Town, Shrewsbury are now very much a pass-and-move side. We 've mentioned our lack of experienced defensive options by signing 32-year-old Reuben Hazell of Oldham, of us three good alternatives for the central defense. Joe Jacobson has gone from Accrington as first choice left-back signed replace Walsall-bound Mat Sadler, who played every minute of last season on loan here. Former Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan and Accrington 's Terry Gornell hopefully add physicality, pace and clinical finishing. Jon Taylor has signed a new contract, snubbing offers from several SPL clubs, which are probably the best group of big players in the league. Released in central midfield and Craig Disley were McIntyre, Matt Richards coming in from Walsall.

Southend United

Swindon Town

Swindon have had no real test as of yet in pre-season so it is hard to make an accurate prediction. However, from what I have seen I would disappointed with anything less than automatic promotion.

The case was even worse, after our defeat to play-off final, precede with the manager Paul Buckle 's abrupt departure, that five of us, the 11th choice However, his successor Martin Ling immediate use his experience and connections with some clever and exciting signings made. With our summer shopping now complete, we have a team that represents an improvement over last season 's, both in terms of balance and depth, including some promising young talent.

While our president was quick to take the pressure of his new coach say that consolidation was the limit of his expectations for the season, Ling 's impressive start hoping, that we can build, where we raised left off. If we 're on the last season build' s strong presence then we 'll have to cut down on annoying tendency to concede late goals, but with the defense probably looking for the strongest teams in this region shouldn' t be on us .

An encouraging pre-season can 't mask the need for a transitional period, however, and an inconsistent initial spell while everyone finds their feet, another play-off challenge could undermine it. While I 'm home will continue to top-seven finish mid-table top can be a realistic goal.
