If politicians insist on the appointment of czars to oversee all aspects of our lives at least make them more relevant to everyday life
When, in 1917, the Russians decided they had too many czars organized a revolution. In Scotland, however, which rarely learn the lessons of history, it seems that I can not get enough of them. In the last estimate, rounded to 10, we have about 42. We have an intelligence czar, tsar of a prison, the Tsar of children, a drug czar and, presumably, a sectarian and carbon footprint of a Czar Czar.
intrepidAn inspector with time on their hands will also be able to find many other potentates in chests buried in St Andrews House and put their snouts in the areas of Scottish life that escaped the administration of Holyrood.
Last week it was announced that the government is seeking to appoint a senior official with a salary Carlos Tevez to watch your program on the independence and constitutional change. But now we're all pretty well versed in astronomy Scottish politician to know when a new tsar is born. It has already been named the Czar of separation.
This quote, however, is entirely appropriate and proportionate to the objective of a nationalist government with a separatist agenda and a clear democratic majority. Someone, at some point, will manage the administrative changes that will continue if the government additional tax are devolved in Scotland and in the case of total and absolute independence. To mitigate any reaction overlooked this latest addition to the nomenclature of the public a government spokesman said: "We are on track to meet the government's policy to reduce the high officials of 25% over the three years. "This is a laudable goal, and only a wicked cynic might doubt the veracity of this statement.
If the government decided, however, that one in four of our most panjandrums surplus requirements then why not just name the new czar of separation from the inside. I am not an expert on the nuances and ephemeris of our range of government ministers, but ... uh, let me see. John Swinney Cabinet Secretary is to fund growth, employment and sustainable development and Bruce Crawford is the cabinet secretary of the parliamentary and governmental strategy. I will stay here, my neck and suggest that someone with administrative experience to manage the agenda of independence and growth of the Constitution and the works of these two ministers. Why not just hire a couple of researchers from 10 thousand dollars a pop to help with the extra paperwork and split the costs.
However, if the politicians insisted on the appointment of czars to oversee all aspects of our lives, then maybe you should make them more relevant to our daily existence. Might be called "tsars of the people" and I called three to get them started and in the spirit of civic responsibility.
Tsar Old Firm
This is a very important and is central to the agenda of community government. In short, everyone in Scotland, are encouraged to have a religion. We have Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Buddhists and Muslims, but are we really sure that's enough? Pagans, Unitarians and Seventh-day Adventists have been doing their act together recently, but what about Jedi, white witches and black witches, occultists, Zoroastrians, druids and space cadets
All of them could be funded by the government and everyone takes a turn to lead the worship in the church of your choice. In this way, we all stop being introspective and melancholy, especially when the nights draw, and are encouraged to look beyond our spiritual food.
