Texas governor remains unstable at times the Republican presidential debate, particularly in the controversial HPV vaccine

Texas Governor Rick Perry, was wounded, but still considered the favorite for the presidential nomination of his party, after a heated debate that was televised attacked the rival candidates and attracted contempt for an audience that usually friendly.

Most of the spectators radically conservative supporters of the Tea Party in Tampa was with Perry, even when he was on the defensive in his previous complaint of Social Security as unconstitutional, and when he hesitated control over their claims to have created an economic success in Texas.

But Perry was on the wrong side of the crowd on the two issues mentioned - which was considered a mild treatment of illegal immigrants in his state, and its use of executive power to require girls as younger than 12 were vaccine against HPV to protect against cervical cancer.

The subject of HPV

Perry gave his most difficult moment, because he offended many potential supporters as an abuse of government power and an attack against individual freedom, and showed signs of being likely that the dog his campaign.

Part Perry

the assault was led by his closest rival, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, who kept his cool as Perry seemed agitated. However, Perry was also pressed by Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, who must make a greater impact after it was forced into the background in the debate last week and whose support has hurt.

Perry entered the debate with a clear advantage in the latest CNN poll, which supports 32% among Republicans, against 21% for Romney. The other candidates far behind.

The last debate, broadcast by CNN in collaboration with the Tea Party Express, took place in Tampa, Florida, to an audience of supporters of the Tea Party, whose questions have often tested the loyalty of candidates for their views against the government and hostility to taxes.

But Florida is a state with a large number of people are very wary of attempts to interfere in their pension payments.

Perry was quick to withdraw its previous statements that social security, including pensions, it is a "monstrous lie" and a "Ponzi scheme".

He said: "People who are on Social Security today need to understand something:. Slam dunk guarantee that the program will be set up there for those "

But he says that the system must be reformed if it is going to pay for the younger generation.

Romney focused on attempts to Perry himself as having overseen a prosperous economy in Texas, including the creation of many jobs, while the rest of the U.S. economy. sank into recession.

recalled that the "four aces" to help the Texas economy - oil, the income tax to zero, the negative regulation of the business and the Republican control of state government - were established long before Perry became governor.

"Get four Aces, this does not make you a fantastic player," said Romney. The best way to meet Perry had returned the fire without addressing the question: "Mitt, you were doing very well before you have to talk about poker."

There is little doubt that Romney scored points with a wider audience of American voters. But for many in the Republican right is not enough that Perry is governor of a state without income tax.

Perry replied, "If you say that you can buy for $ 5000, shocks me." But the crowd was with Bachmann, and rapid response drew applause. "I am shocked by all parents and girls who have no other option. That's what I'm offended, "he said.
