Before my case, in which the Department of Justice United States has demanded that social media site in the hands of more personal information about my account is considered necessary to investigate Wikileaks , does not think much about what rights he left to accept the contract user to sign on my computer. This concept has to change. Nobody really knew where we were some years ago: users or businesses we collect our personal information for profit. Very few of us imagine that the democratic governments that say they invade your privacy online regardless of the fundamental rights which are supposed to have in the real world. We can look to China and other totalitarian states violate stereotypical and expect the free flow of digital information and our privacy, but not - right? -. What I learned about my lack of rights in recent months has been a concern for all who use the Internet and calls for raising awareness about their legal rights and improved forms of legal guidelines on digital media, whether locally or globally. The problem - and the dilemma we face - is that there are appropriate standards, there is no basic laws in place that address the fundamental question that must be treated as consumers or citizens online? There are no international charter that says that we should have the same civil rights we have in the offline world.
  • Our legal systems are slow compared to the speed of online development. With the explosion of social media, many people have put into the databases of sensitive information about themselves and others, unaware that they have no right to defend themselves against the attempts of government to obtain personal information - whether their own or local authorities, as in my case, a foreign government acts internationally.
