The debate in Iowa is the last chance before the vote for the candidates to make noise - and Newt Gingrich, you have to dodge the inevitable flak
Republican presidential debate tonight is the two most important times of the year in American politics. Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and other Republican rivals meet in Sioux City, Iowa, as the survivors of a battle of World War I huddled in a ditch.
One by one, the Republican candidates have passed over. Some just got out of his trench. However, others have made their bid for victory soon, only to be shot down by a deadly explosion of friends and enemies.
debate tonight is the last before the vote begins in earnest with the Iowa caucuses Jan. 3. For many candidates on stage is your last chance - in what will probably debate with the highest scores of the season
Newt Gingrich is the latest - and probably last - the GOP candidates are injured after running into an advantage in the polls. A few days later showed an increase Gingrich, former president of the roof of the house on the edge, his opponents starting mine laying trip.
In particular, Mitt Romney has spent most of the debate last five days throwing grenades in the direction of Gingrich. The warrior Gingrich was able to crush the trash - but Romney has sharpened his attacks, Gingrich helped by raising its own trap
Monday, in response to an attack on Romney to accept the enormous costs for the government backed by Freddie Mac mortgage facilitator, Gingrich said strangely.
"I just want to say that if Governor Romney wants to return all the money earned from business failure and dismissal of employees during his years at Bain I'd love to hear him then "said Gingrich, at short notice at an event in New Hampshire.
In one stroke, Gingrich was not only self-pinched positive campaign, but confirmed the accuracy of the attacks that Romney and his representatives had made, and it was unstable and Gingrich - as the English say - also malignant.
of Republican presidential candidates to hit the free market principle for profits tend to have a short lifespan. The problem is that only half excites Gingrich the Republican Party. The other half is terrified.
A candidate wantsGuide tonight's debate of the candidate:
Newt Gingrich
. You have to play against type and degree of moderation and political sense. Sympathy is your biggest problem, and you have to reassure nervous Republicans who was stripped of his ugly image of the 1990s and Nutty Professor character not to go into how to be serious candidates for president.
Newt win if: he is always smiling while dodging criticism from his rivals
Newt loses if: EMP begins jets and colonies on the Moon
Mitt Romney
. Need to make more progress in the development of Gingrich as unstable and rather conservative, possibly through recycling "companies break" Gingrich office. If you can not bite the hands back Gingrich, the better.
Mitt wins if: they can use to say something stupid Gingrich
Mitt loses if: you can not calm his old "bet $ 10 000" faux pas
- . Enjoy your time in the spotlight as his poll numbers in Iowa earning new respect in the media. However, Fox News is a friend and he must wait a few specific questions about their views on foreign policy.
- Ron wins if: it can continue to talk about big government
- Ron loses if: you start talking about the 9 / 11 and Al-Qaeda
Rick loses if: You have another debate full of errors and Flubs
